SF - Mystery Solved - I want to share my story to help others who are facing challenging health issues. Before I came to HeartLight Wellness and met Dr. Irene Dougherty, I was having trouble just getting out of bed, and now I get up, enjoy my activities, go out to eat, and do things I used to take for granted.
I struggled for years with extreme fatigue, nagging allergies, muscle weakness, and a host of other unexplained symptoms. I went to see numerous western doctors, and I was told time and time again to stop chasing a diagnosis.

-SB - Dr. Irene Dougherty has helped me in so many ways throughout the last decade. I’ve had many issues with different health and emotional problems. Recently, I’ve been having horrific headaches and couldn’t seem to find out what was causing them. I contacted my doctor, had an MRI, went to the chiropractor, and the dentist. No one could find anything that was causing the headaches.
I made an appointment with Irene, and she was the only one who could help. We had yard work done which required the front yard to be stripped, and new soil and mulch brought in, and when I worked outside my severe headaches started.
Dr. Dougherty, an NAET allergy specialist, was able to clear my reaction to what was in the new soil and mulch. After my first treatment, I went for over a week without a headache. -VT - Irene was my acupuncturist from high school through college. I was a softball pitcher unable to lift my throwing arm above 90°. My condition did not improve after weeks of physical therapy and chiropractic, and Irene treated me for the injury that would have ended my competitive softball activities. After my first treatment with Irene, my range of motion increased dramatically, and I could move another 45° without pain. I absolutely credit her treatments for saving my athletic career. I also continued to see Irene for a variety of issues through college.
Irene also treated my parents, and my Mom was cured of over 40 allergies (milk, beef, lettuce, tomato, etc.) by Irene using NAET allergy elimination therapy. -TJ - I struggled with painful stomach issues which puzzled medical doctors and had a flare up while I was working temporarily on a motion picture in Santa Fe. I was looking for an acupuncturist to supplement treatment I had at home in NYC when I came across Dr. Irene Dougherty’s HeartLight Wellness website.
When I read Dr. Dougherty’s profile, I was intrigued that she was both a Master acupuncturist AND a Loomis Digestive Health Specialist as well. I was skeptical because of my frustrating encounters with medical doctors, but I really needed some help. After only two visits with Dr. Dougherty, I noticed a huge improvement and a year later I am symptom-free.

As a 26-year-old, I never left the house without Tums and didn't want to accept the idea of daily heartburn medication for the rest of my life.
